Spittal VC was part of a work experience that I completed. During the project, I worked with two of my classmates as a creative practitioner to teach a year 4/5 class about the world of interior design. After completing a number of tasks to gather feedback about what the children wanted out of the classroom. We then started putting together a scheme which included a bespoke reading corner and accompanying shelves. The furniture was designed and built using the wood and metal workshops at Cardiff School of art & design. This was a hugely successful scheme that was received really well by both pupils and staff.
